Ink of Dreams
The poem Ink of Dreams turns emotion into art of the human mind. The opening metaphor, "It drips like midnight rain," sets a tone of quiet mystery, where it represents the descent of ideas, thoughts and dreams that fall from the unconscious mind and all merge into ink. The rain is not only ink but also symbolises the loneliness and expression of buried feelings through the silence of night. Each line mirrors the artist's struggle between beauty and burden, the bittersweet nature of expression. "It lifts the silent, soothes the scar." Here I have tried to use language as the bridge between emotion and understanding that true creativity is not only about beauty, but it heals through expression. Ultimately, "Ink of Dreams" feels like a soft confession; through the correct word choice, rhythm and imagery, it shows that English is not just merely a language but a living, breathing art form that mirrors the soul. Behind the scene: As the poet of the poem,...

The way you’ve turned silence into feeling is just magical. Every line carries emotion beyond words.
